When the days are terribly busy it is very easy to find some clarity which had been obtained slowly disappearing. The choice is whether to seek to consciously hold onto the insight slipping away or to see how much of it has been planted deep enough to form roots.
To regain a grip on it takes some time for quiet reflection. The very activities that demand so much attention that they threatened the previously won certainties interfere with finding time for peace. This resistance can join with my own preference to avoid internal work and suddenly the idea of simply looking for what grows seems quite sensible. Although there are times for dormancy, watch for the times it is nothing more than laziness mixed with aversion.
