Fog dispersing sunshine

When the days are terribly busy it is very easy to find some clarity which had been obtained slowly disappearing. The choice is whether to seek to consciously hold onto the insight slipping away or to see how much of it has been planted deep enough to form roots.

To regain a grip on it takes some time for quiet reflection. The very activities that demand so much attention that they threatened the previously won certainties interfere with finding time for peace. This resistance can join with my own preference to avoid internal work and suddenly the idea of simply looking for what grows seems quite sensible. Although there are times for dormancy, watch for the times it is nothing more than laziness mixed with aversion.

End of Semester

So many things wait until the end of the semester, and so often, they still don't get done as quickly as I want. For once! it didn't happen that way. The things that had to wait until the end of the semester are getting done on schedule! I hope this doesn't mean I'm about to die.

Nah, people are rarely ready for premature death, so maybe it means I'm guaranteed to live long enough to get completely behind schedule again.

Why?

Aside from being a favorite question since about age three, I am wondering it right now about me and this blogging thing. Why?

I don't like writing. I don't have anything to write about right now. Blogging is old news already. So, why can't I let it go?

First entry

I suppose it should say "Hello World" - that is traditional.

I don't have anything to blog about, so read at your own risk. If you read this last, I'm sorry you took so much time to find out that I have nothing to say.
